Volume 1 of The Purples introduces the creation of the Omniverse by the powerful entity known as the Violet Sun. The Violet Sun births three sun spirits—Widck, Enda, and Voida—to pass on its values and powers, and the trio embarks on a journey to explore and protect the Omniverse.
As they travel, the Purples fights villains like Shriken Balloon, who poses a threat to entire galaxies, and later, Vellan Skin Taker, a cruel figure intent on harvesting life forms for her own purposes. Throughout their explorations, they gradually discover that an ominous force, Yamoner, is systematically erasing the Omniverse The volume's main focus is on the Purples' developing sense of duty as protectors of the Omniverse and their struggle to counteract both cosmic villains and philosophical threats to existence itself.
Plot:[]
The Violet Sun was alone in its dimensional Pink Lock Realm, observing other gods as they created dimensions and worlds. Inspired by their creations, the Violet Sun desired to create something far greater. It traveled beyond its realm, then exploded, leaving behind a vast purple mist that drew the attention of other gods.
Using its infinite power, the Violet Sun compressed everything into a single point, giving birth to the Omniverse. From this event, three sun spirits—Widck, Enda, and Voida—were born, each carrying the morals and powers of the Sun. These spirits quickly created three distinct planets for habitation.
Voida visited Enda's planet, exploring places such as Candy Hotspot, Candy Jungle, Chocolate Falls, and Enda’s Grand Castle. Inside the castle, Enda showed Voida a special, ever-burning candy that nearly triggered Voida’s immense powers until she was calmed by a treat called Yuokmah. Afterward, the two slid down a candy slide to Voida's planet.
Meanwhile, in his Snow Dimension, Widck sipped herbal tea while scrying his planet. He was startled by an explosion, leading him to discover a vast new world of dimensions and life. He called on Enda and Voida, and the three bypassed the all-dimensional barrier. They decided to split up, with Widck exploring alone while Voida and Enda remained together. Widck journeyed into Temps Rain, a glowing galaxy filled with radiant beings.
Reunited, the trio created a navigational system for the Omniverse. One day, while Enda was reading a book of candy recipes in a chocolate marsh, Widck interrupted her to announce their next tour of the Omniverse. After their customary tea and cake ritual, they grasped hands and left the Pink Lock Realm.
They ventured into the Multiverse of Action, where Voida harbored a grudge against heroes, believing they often caused more harm than good. As they explored, a mysterious, beak-faced being watched them from afar and summoned a villain called Shriken Balloon. The Purples discovered galaxies destroyed by Shriken and engaged in an epic battle with the villain. Ultimately, Voida defeated Shriken using her Void Yo-Yo, but the attack destroyed part of a continent.
The scene shifted to planet Makemake-b2, ruled by the ruthless Vellan Skin Taker. The Purples then explored the Super Hub, a trans-infinite meeting of stories and creations, each with unique rules and realities. They encountered Samuel Klerk and his friend, who were battling in the Speed Ice Universe. After a brief conversation, the Purples traveled to the Ayin World, ruled by God Nothing, who was soon erased by the nihilistic being Yamoner. As Yamoner continued to destroy dimensions, the Purples could only watch as universes disappeared, unable to restore them. Meanwhile, Vellan continued her dark mission of capturing and torturing beings to create products for Makemake-b2.
The Purples finally confronted Vellan aboard her massive spacecraft, battling through an army of guards to subdue her. Despite their efforts, she managed to escape. Meanwhile, Yamoner’s power grew as he destroyed multiverses and created new villains to hinder the Purples. The trio sensed the looming danger and faced Vellan again when she captured more beings on planet 98-23. In a great battle, they protected the planet and reversed much of the destruction Vellan had caused, but their mission to stop the villainous forces in the Omniverse was far from over.
Vellan continued her rampage across dimensions, but the Purples, growing stronger with each battle, pursued her relentlessly. With each encounter, new enemies, challenges, and revelations emerged. Throughout her campaign against Widck, Enda, and Voida, Vellan revealed an obsessive need for control. She enslaved entire planets, using violence and cruelty to produce products for Makemake-b2. Yet, as her struggle with the Purples intensified, cracks appeared in her seemingly unyielding resolve.
In her final moments, Vellan activated the vacuum nullifier on her ship, sending her crew into the void of space and sealing their fate. As her empire crumbled under the pressure of the Purples’ might, Vellan realized her defeat was inevitable. Her obsessive need for control spiraled into psychological torment, and the weight of her impending failure became unbearable.
Rather than face capture or humiliation, Vellan chose to take her own life. She initiated her ship’s self-destruct mechanism, preferring to die on her own terms. This act was both a denial of defeat and a final attempt to reclaim control in her darkest hour. The Purples were left confused and saddened by her suicide. Though they opposed her cruelty, they did not wish for her death. Vellan's tragic end was more than the fall of a villain; it was a reminder of the destructive consequences of unchecked ambition and the despair that follows.
Voida was ready to heal every person on board Vellan's ship, but she knew it was already too late. Any attempt to heal them would expose the ship's passengers to the vacuum of space, a reality Voida had to accept, leaving her torn between her powers and the physical constraints of the universe.
