Overview |
Poki is a minor, supporting character in the series and the former partner of Dragonforce, with whom she explored the Omniverse. From a young age, Poki had a tumultuous relationship with her sister and often reflected on changes within her multiverse. In the Omniverse story arc, Poki embarks on a long journey with Dragonforce, who grants her unique powers limited to her lineage. Upon returning to Earth 5-3 decades later, she reconciles with her sister before setting off again. In the Yamoner story arc, Poki and Dragonforce ally with The Purples trio, joining quadrillions of heroes to counter Yamoner’s nihilistic agenda.
In the final conflict, Poki is deceived and brutally defeated by Yamoner, who impersonates Dragonforce, leaving Poki to perish and marking her end with a vast crater—a testament to her enduring resolve and sacrifice.
Character:
Poki, ever since she was young, had ongoing feuds with her sister and often wished to be left alone. Alongside these conflicts, she frequently pondered the rapid changes in society and her multiverse. However, it wasn’t until the Omniverse story arc that Poki would finally make a significant change. In the year 20,000 (the time period of Poki’s home world), Poki, along with several others, was sent on a spacecraft to explore the far reaches of the universe. Before she departed, her future comrade Dragonforce enchanted her with powers. These abilities, while limited in versatility, were exceptionally powerful and would only pass down through Poki and her family tree.
Poki and Dragonforce became remarkable partners, exploring the Omniverse together. When Poki returned to Earth after 30 years, she had a private conversation with her sister. They came to a mutual understanding, agreeing to respect one another and ending their conversation with a hug. In Chapter 15, Poki decides to leave her planet to journey to the Multiverse of Action. She states that she won’t be returning, but she will keep a close connection to her family. With that, she and Dragonforce set off once more.
During the Yamoner story arc, Poki, Dragonforce, and quadrillions of other heroes (about 1/8th of the Omniverse)[1]) grew concerned over Yamoner's immoral and terrifying goals. Many heroes began questioning whether they were merely pawns or villains in her plans. The Omniverse started to experience widespread villainy during this arc (metaphorically aligned with the present time), leading to a point where 23 quadrillion heroes, anti-heroes, and even villains united to battle other nihilistic villains.
When Poki and Dragonforce encountered the trio, they initially mistook them for evil, viewing them as "distorted creations" crafted by Yamoner. However, After Widck responded with a witty retort, Poki and Dragonforce began questioning their assumptions. Enda joined in, yelling at them, prompting the duo to attack. Widck used his powers to counter them, ultimately overpowering them and forcing them to back down. Realizing their mistake, Poki and Dragonforce teamed up with the trio, apologizing for their previous ignorance and coming to believe that the trio could play a pivotal role in their fight.
Poki and Dragonforce vs. Yamoner:
Toward the end of the series, The Purples were scattering throughout the infinite Omniverse, attempting to defeat, convert, or erase all villains, though they soon realized this was futile, as nearly 7/8ths of the Omniverse had been erased. Poki and Dragonforce, still alive during the "War of Villains and Heroes," struggled to find resources to survive. Eventually, they split up to search more effectively.
Taking advantage of this, Yamoner disguised herself as Dragonforce to manipulate Poki’s actions. Before Poki could react, she was brutally beaten by this false Dragonforce, only to later discover it was Yamoner all along. The real Dragonforce, still alive, attempted to reconnect with Poki, but she was unresponsive. In her efforts, she found herself battling one of Yamoner’s villains. After a long struggle, she managed to defeat the villain, only to realize it was an illusion. Desperately, she tried to reconnect with Dragonforce and came to realize the damage she had inflicted on her surroundings. However, before long, she was burned alive, leaving a massive crater behind.
